Regulatory Officer

Position Summary:

​

Responsible for compliance the statutory and federal regulations and certification requirements through the
implementation and maintenance of management system programs and good manufacturing practices. Review risks,
procedures, and policies to ensure that products are produced following the specifications established by franchises,
regulations and government. Support and direct the resources for the proper function of the management system.​

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implementation and maintenance of ISO management systems. Give support to other CC1 facilities in their management system implementation and maintenance.

• Ensure compliance of quality, safety, environmental and food safety requirements.

• Responsible for maintaining the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) program.

• Responsible for maintenance of the required documents by the management system regulations.

• Manage the software for management systems compliance.

• Ensure that the documentation required for general compliance is properly prepared and protected.

• Verify that established objectives of the management systems are under control.

• Participate and coordinate external and internal audits.

• Comply with GMPs and Food safety system requirements.

• Give support to the food safety team leader.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Comply with the policies, procedures and processes established by Florida Can Manufacturing LLC.

• Bilingual (Spanish - English) oral and written.

• Available to travel and work overtime.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to:

• Sit, stand, and/or walk for periods of five hours or more, move and examine objects at high and low reach, and read for periods of three hours or more.

• This position requires manual dexterity/fine motor skills.

Education and Experience:

​

• Bachelor’s degree.

• One to two years of experience in the area of compliance and management systems programs.
